The magic show was coming up and it was the week of the show. We were lined up to do an act. We had the music, we sang our parts, we made a dance. We spend a few hours just messing around with the CD and looking for "housewife" dresses and then we made a really cute little number and practiced it over and over. Sometimes we wouldn't be able to get through it cause we would laugh when you said "You be home for supper or i'll give you what-for!" or when we did a little kick when we sang "We used to could laugh and play". We finally got the PERFECT filler act finished only to have me get sick (for one of the only TWO TIMES that year) later right before the performance.
