Ativan (lorazopam) is a minor tranquilizer in the "Valium" family. It has a short half-life; i.e., works for about 4 hours on anxiety type symptoms. Since you say you only need it once a week or "as needed" I wouldn't worry about the addictive qualities of it. (Er...)

HOW DO I KNOW THIS? Um... Klonopin/Clonazopam is my friend? Not sure what your diagnosis is darling, but-- Social Anxiety meet Generalized Anxiety (usedtobepanicdisorder). Behavior modification techniques: relaxation, breathing exercises, regular exercise, and all that rot helps too. You're not alone!

See? More to me than Taylor Hanson as well. >:)

*goes back to vacation* Well, everyone's asleep so I'll lurk because IT IS ONLY 9:00 p.m.!!!! (geez)

Thanks for the the info. I had read about it on a website but I wanted a view from someone who has used that type of drug. I only need to work for about 4 hours so that's perfect. I used to be a lot worse. I love my job (ha ha) I think they should pay for it 100%. But I will take what I can get. I always have to remind myself how lucky I was to be born here instead of a third world nation.
