I have been greatly enjoying watching Olympic tennis online this week. (If slightly miffed that it's mostly been on in the wee hours of the morning, so I still can't really see it live.) I'm really digging the chance to watch doubles matches - you get so used to the players being all alone on the court that it's kind of bizarre to see them, like

Ta-da! They run matches live while they're going on, and then when the day is over, you can go back and watch, like, 8 hours of footage per court if you missed anything. Generally there's no commentary, which tends to let one's mind wander to interesting places. (i.e., I am currently trying to decide which Prince of Tennis characters Roger & Stanislas are most like - Roger is clearly Tezuka, but I don't know enough about Stan to decide if he's Momo or Taka :D)

Its too bad my hate for the Chinese government and the boringness of the Olympics in general trumps TEH CUTENESS.
