Need to identify the comic that included these scenes from a short series of comics (maybe late 80's?). It's a crime-ish comic that dealt with (future-ish?) mobs and thugs, no idea which (if any) superhero was involved

The mystery has been solved. I posted on a site and someone popped up about ten minutes later with cover shots. I was totally blown away. The series was called Skeemer. Six issues from 1989, exactly as I remember, including the pregnant woman on the cover (though I didn't remember her on a cover, there she is nonetheless).
