What exactly is this Halloween? There seems to be a lot of black involved, so it must be a good thing.

It's a holiday celebrated in a lot of countries. The idea behind it used to be that people would dress up in masks to scare away the demons that come once a year. However it eventually evolved into a family time where children dress up in costume and wander around knocking on doors to get candy.

In true Port Mango fashion, I am sure -something- interesting will happen. *wary*

It's too bad the original ritual was dumbed down to such family-friendly terms. I like the spooking the ghouls aspect of it.

Like what, the disgruntled ghosts of all the missing people will come back to haunt us? Maybe you're taking this Halloween too seriously.

Well, it's still a good time to scare the crap out of everyone around you. Sit at home. watch horror flicks. Dress up in the scariest costume ever imaginable and making grown men cry. That sort of thing. You'd probably like it.

Nooo...maybe the mangos will turn into zombies or a death will happen or...something.

((Or maybe we can get turned into whatever we dress up as, like that one Buffy episode. That would be SO COOL.))
