(OOC: I thought you two were going to RP it out.)

Sounds like a nice first day. What do you plan on doing for the rest of the week? (It's a week-long vacation.)

I'm waiting to see what she would like to do. This is only the first day and so far, she's been rather quiet. *looks off to the side* I just hope that it stays that way. *in a hushed voice*

(ooc: Oh, we still can. I was going to post an entry on Pele's journal yesterday, but when I finally had the time, I had just come back from the Homecoming game (which we won ^_~), and needless to say, I was pretty wasted. That's why I'm so happy Silver posted this!)

I still do not see why that child would dare to throw anything at you. Rude and pointless...

Those rides were... unique. I have to compliment Kaiba on his creativity... *took a lot of willpower to admit it*

*looks outside the window at the shining lights throughout the park* How pretty...

(ooc: Sorry for the late- and pathetic- comment. Writer's block, 'nuff said.)

*smiles* This is what people do now. They like to entertain their imagination with feats of glory and excitement. Perhaps being among them helps us to understand them better. *rubs Pele's shoulders* I'm learning to understand you better. *smiles warmly*

*relaxes slightly under Dartzs' hands* Humans have always be difficult for me to understand. They are too... *looks away* I have always been jealous of them, even though they are so complex, confusing, and contradictory. I don't think that will ever go away.

It never helped that over time, mortals began to forget about the gods. They abandoned the concept in order to feel 'free', with no fear of another overseeing thier life. *can't help but smirk* But just because they can deny the existance of gods, it doesn't mean gods don't exsist. Truely, how can humans think that things 'just happen'? Don't they ever wonder if the sun rises because someone wills it to?

It will be near impossible for me to "understand them better"...

*chuckles* Oh yes. You speak the truth. Think of it this way, if we were to constantly worry about humanity, we would never rest. Perhaps it's a welcome break from the norm that you have grown accustomed to. It's not a bad thing. There are still a few that believe in gods, and few still that practice the rites of worship. That is why we still exist.
