Just an update to let people know that I have - finally - found a job. Tomorrow, I start work at Blackwells Music, to tread a path that is already heavily worn from the steps of innumerable G&S enthusiasts

I note the new Bach of G&S hacks is making a concerted attempt to harmonise with their predecessors. In time, I'll sure others will get into the rhythm of it and join you there.

I'm not sure I liked the tenor of that reply. Such bass sentiments will have to be noted on my little Liszt, though I realise that you regard puns as your forte.
You're Chopin logic again, and I sense a crescendo of indignation accompanying our little exchange. We could orchestrate it even better - string it out so one can scroll down through a whole section of puns, then take a final bow at the end. I'm sure one of us can Parry any attacks, and if need be we can ac-cello-rate the whole process to avoid violince.
There's no Haydn place, I'm afraid - I intend to remain composed as I continue. The matter in which you have conducted yourself was instrumental in this decision. Trumpeting your punning ability around like that is cymbal-ic of your arrogance in this matter.

It's an intriguing possibility. But the Space-Time Continuum appears to have developed a cunning safeguard against such an eventuality - Tom's leaving Blackwell's Music soon :(
