One of those "only in Oxford" moments...

As I was walking through university parks this afternoon, I passed a couple walking a dog. Or at least, that's how it didn't look, from a distance. It was much too small, and its gait was all wrong.

P.S. A couple of weeks ago, apotropaios posted about seeing someone walk what he thought was a lemur- possibly the same meerkat?

Ooh, perhaps! Although it would be nice to think that somebody is cultivating a whole menagerie of miscellaneous African mammals! If I happen to notice anybody walking an aardvark along Broad Street, then I may just have to sit down to avoid being overbalanced by the resultant grin :D
