Yay Sally! You can totally do the color purple thing now you have the right bits. I'm glad the people are nice, I was wondering if you were in with other transwomen or just yr standard tonsilectomy-type folk. Vegetarian food is probably the safe bet whatever your diet and whichever hospital *deeply suspicious of hospital food*. I didn't realise you'd never been in hospital before - poor darling. Glad the morphine is no longer necessary, although very sorry to hear it wasn't working for you. Morphine is usually the food of the gods, when I was doing the whole wheelchair thing - well, before that, obviously - I sang its praises. Mind you, I was a small child about to lose a leg, so probably I wasn't really aware of any side effects. You are fully functioning adult etc.

Am glad the nurses are okay, also being near the window is great! Is it clean? The ward, I mean. Are the other inpatients mostly your age?
