Last week's concerts and today.
Since I'm pretty much bumming it out this afternoon, I figured I might as well update a little more.
Last week's concerts.
Tuesday, 9th of June: Die Sterne.
Sorry for the very bad picture quality. Lots of fun, they even played four [!] encores. Had to leave before they finished the last one in order to catch the last tram [which didn't go where I expected]. Highlights: Wahr ist was wahr ist, Aber andererseits & Was hat dich bloß so ruiniert. The support band Gustav [from Austria] were awful when singing in German and okay-ish in English.
Friday, 12th of June: dEUS.

Very nice music, but the sound mixing wasn't all that good... whenever the band became very loud, it all just appeared as a big mushy something. Also, I'm not sure whether I really like the new songs that much. Highlights: Instant Street, Put the freaks up front, Magdalena [Yes, I like the Ideal Crash album the most] & Roses. The support band MAMMÚT [from Iceland] were good. On reading the dEUS message board it seems I missed out on the band sitting down to have a drink at the location afterwards. :/
Today I'm going to see a movie one of my professors invited the course to at the Polish Institute. Not sure whether it's any good, but I decided I have to check out a movie that features Sylvester Stallone, Pelé and Michael Caine.
