The Puppy Situation.

In the neighbourhood Tammi lives in there are many stray dogs and cats that usually get fed by inhabitants of whatever building they mostly like to hang out at. There's two strays that Tammi and I especially like (and the feeling is mutual), called Socks and errr... the Mama Dog.

I'd be worried too :/ I remember being told as a kid not to touch birds fallen off the nest etc. b/c they'd get the human scent on them, and their mother wouldn't identify them anymore as her offspring (i was always having these real big rescuing tendencies..)

Don't know how much of it applies to dogs though.

Every time I've had kittens I've only had to wait till they were clean before picking them up and snuggling them. If cats are anything like dogs, I really don't think the mum is rejecting them because you touched them. She must have been through some traumatic circumstance that's shaken her hormones..??

Poor little ones. I'd adopt one right now if I could. :(

Still I hope that, with the vet's help, you can bring them up well and have them placed somewhere loving soon.. in any case, good luck with them, man.
