Movie Review - The Battle For Haditha

In this review I will attempt to keep my personal political views out of it as much as possible. It’s obvious to anyone who knows about the film that it is heavily political and expresses a strong anti-war and anti-US sentiment. Being a marine in the unit this film portrayed I too saw inconsistencies within the film, but remember it's Hollywood. It my opinion this "independent" film had far better acting than big time nationwide released films such as "Stop-Loss" and "Jarhead". The movie did not have the best acting or complete realistic marine corps procedures, but I would have to say the replica of the Haditha city was amazing, the best I have seen of any movie portraying Iraq. Like I've always said when watching any war related movie if you have been in combat,"remember it's Hollywood"
