Just watched a movie!

I am on the tail-end of my vacation with Mrs. Hyde, and we finally sat down and watched something we've been meaning to watch for a very long time--Frozen! Yeah, that's right, I was one of three people who had not yet seen it. Mrs. Hyde was another one of those three.

Suffice to say, I will be reviewing it. But not here.

Yeah. Frozen? Let it go.

I did enjoy Frozen too--it was cute, sweet, and fun, but it's merely a good movie, not a great or amazing one. Big Hero 6 is better (I'd consider it an amazing movie), and it honestly did the "self sacrifice for non-romantic love" thing a whole lot better.

There are an awful lot of Disney movies that are better, to be honest.

I always thought that Frozen has High School Musical Syndrome, in that it's a generic Disney movie that only became popular on the back of one song that got overplayed to death. Without 'Let It Go' (and the fact that they rewrote the whole movie around it), 'Frozen' would be straight-to-DVD crap.
