my friend tried to get tickets but they sold out all their shows within the first 20 minutes. O.O!!!!
Now tickets are going for 100$ bucks at their cheapest. ;_; And I'm a poor college student who doesn't have a 100$ to spend on a concert. LUCKY. You get to go. Have LOADS of fun.

Sounds like you dont know much about ska.

Ska is not a fusion of punk reggae or rock. Ska is a mixture of Jamaican mento and calypso that was mixed with American jazz and rhythm and blues after world war two. What happened was after WW2, radios got cheap and Jamaicans were exposed to American music, which they liked and made their own.

What your thinking of is third wave ska, which is the sound you probably call ska.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones aren't really ska. They're described as ska-core because its a mixture of third wave ska and hardcore punk, but a distinct genre nonetheless.

Oh, and correlating solidity of a band with their popularity is ludacris. You probably thought the Baha Men were a solid band too.

If you had omitted the first and last lines

I would have taken that as a helpful tip.

What you're thinking of is narcissism,
which is how you intended to show superiority.

Now I just know that whoever you are,
you think your expertise of music
is enough to make me feel inept,

and that you don't stop to notice that
I had even left the genres part blatantly open-ended and vague.

Couldn't have been for that purpose.
Nah.

God forbid I actually looking through some wikipedia articles and such prior to getting the tickets.
