So,
that's it.
Let's empty all the mini-bars and leave this town in flames.
Stole this from Caitlin.
iPod on random, say what each song reminds you of.
1. The Rebirth - Boy Hits Car
ASC in Schilling's room with Dan, listening to this band.
Also makes me think of California?
2. Camisado - Panic! At The Disco
Going somewhere with Priscilla, she just HAD to make a huge detour to go to Newb's.
Just HAD to get this new album, by some new band.
So, surprisingly, I got to listen to these guys for the first time on practically the release date.
Worth it, because she introduced me, and I still listen to it.
3. Swaying - Train
I don't know why, but Train makes me think of Ani.
Otherwise, I don't listen to this song much.
4. The Bug That Bit Me - The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Ahhh, the Bosstones concert.
Their first show in five years.
Crowdsurfed, man. Crowdsurfed.
5. Cochise - Audioslave
Guitar Hero.
That, and Lars.
I can sort of picture him blasting that while we cruise around,
obviously getting lost.
6. Transcending - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Justin from the Music Shop.
He really stressed me to listen to these guys.
I used to just think they were a weird band.
I never really listened before him.
7. Heroin - The Velvet Underground
Meaghan.
Or, "Red", as Hannah called her when I would vent to her.
The fact that she liked that song, I dunno,
I guess I thought she could be someone she wasn't.
8. Steady As She Goes - The Raconteurs
Christian Lawless, a limey little Brit from Haverhill.
Met him through Zybert.
He really got me hooked.
To Raconteurs, and things involving Jack.
9. Seize The Day - Avenged Sevenfold
The summer of Matt's Basement.
Matt, John, Lars, Dan, and myself would play Medal of Honor
for hours on end,
playing this CD thorughout the whole time.
And Matt finally getting pissed at John,
and kicking him in the head.
10. Lovely Rita - The Beatles
This song makes me think of just Wakefield as a town.
Because I think of the whole "Paul is dead" hoax,
and when I picture him crashing,
I picture a town like Wakefield,
despite the fact that there are no parking meters in town.
11. Like Spinning Plates - Radiohead
I think of Jenny,
and how I manipulated other people.
I think of Salem,
and how there's barely anyone I can relate to.
I suppose this band reminds me of Zybert a little, too.
12. Revolving Dora - Fountains of Wayne
Fun.
Just fun.
These guys are not a good band.
Technically speaking.
They play stuff that is happy, no ands, ifs, or buts.
13. My Stupid Mouth - John Mayer
Trish.
And a field, for some reason.
Just sitting around, with a bunch of people I don't know,
but feeling comfortable for some reason.
14. Hollywood Babylon - The Misfits
Feeling like I'm better than others.
15. Dogs - Pink Floyd
Well,
It reminds me of Ani.
Despite the fact that that CD still lives in Canada,
it was just a good enough mix of happiness and introspective feelings
to make me feel good.
Just like she was.
16. Short Circuit - Daft Punk
I wonder how I knew I liked this band.
I was in 6th grade.
Let's just say I appreciate them a bit more now.
17. Take, Take, Take - The White Stripes
Walking around town stoned.
That's about it.
It's exactly what the mood of the song says to me.
18. Helter Skelter - Dana Fuchs (Across The Universe)
Going to see that movie with my mom.
It also kinda makes me want to pick up my bass.
That sort of fun song.
19. Hatredcopter - Dethklok
Oh, god.
Had to go to this.
Well, Regan.
He showed us this song, saying it was amazing.
Um, sure. Whatevuh.
20. Working Class Hero - John Lennon
Wow.
Hearing Green Day was covering it,
and becoming immediately disappointed.
They didn't really do it justice.
Stick to punk, guys.
21. Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts - Less Than Jake
Haha, NESka inside.
The opening band played this,
And it was surprisingly good.
Bassist played slap through the bridge.
22. Warning - Green Day
Hm.
A mixtape.
One I never made.
23. Volvo Driving Soccer Mom - Everclear
Riding with 'Cil.
Playing this CD,
and loving it because we hadn't heard this song in years.
24. Around The World/Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Daft Punk
Me, Dan, and Matt sitting around in the car,
Waiting for Lars to call us, meaning he was done arguing with Princess.
But, anyways,
Me attempting to rap to techno that entire night.
D.J. Unh.
25. My Name Is Jonas - Weezer
Reminds me of Caitlin.
Figures.
Quiz starts and ends with her.
