Listening. Being Kind. Making others feel special. ACTING. Laughing. Being a dork, without acting like one. DANCING. Supporting your friends. Breathing. Singing in hallways. HUGS. Dancing with glow sticks. Being yourself.

And that's not a complete list.

I miss you.

Friday night, as Kelly and I sat in a coffee shop/ bookstore listening to two amazing folk musicians and shooting the shit between songs, we talked about you and wondered when you were coming back to Washington. We miss you, Spencer ( ... )

Thanks Guys.

Wow, I used to say that all the time. I could play any game and lose, but I loved just playing. Seriously that's why I played Risk to the bitter end when I was losing. I loved just playing the game. What has Magic done to me!! Curse you WOTC!! (No offense to those dear friends who now work for them.)Heh. I need to reevaluate my game plan. I do love to play MAgic, that's why I keep going back. I need to court that idea for a while I think and seek less competition, it's messin' my head up.

I miss all you folks.

Heh. Liz Being a Dork and not acting like one just got a lot harder. I have a ball cap with DORK written across the front. heh. I love the hat. Cause not even True Dorks would wear it.

There's nothing wrong with being human, and there's certainly nothing wrong with throwing your feelings out there and needing to be heard, instead of keeping everything inside where it will eventually wear you down. And there's nothing wrong with missing a loved one. I remember reading your poetry collection about your brother and being struck by the relationship you shared. No one can blame you for missing that.

And you are good at a lot of things, but the one I'm surest of is that you're a good friend. Your mom and your brother both are surely proud of you for that. It's the best thing anyone can be, and you are.
