So what do I have to say?

This is a rarity. I'm actually in the mood this evening to document the events over the past few months of my life. Well the cliffs notes version at least. Who knows? Maybe after this I'll start doing this with a bit more regularity. All I know is I need a fucking hobby of some sort. This is because I work too goddamn much, and I really have no one ( Read more... )

You know, I'm pretty addicted to the workahol too, but it's been nice getting away from it too. For the first time, well, _ever_, I work a 40-43 hour week. That's it. I have no laptop and no VPN access. I still get twitchy because it's so _weird_, but I seriously love it. I'm home by about 6:30p and do nothing but screw around with my own projects when I get home.

I think what really did it for me is that I really don't have many good memories of my 20s and my 30s, so far, except for work and work trips. I'm more than happy to attempt to inject a bit of meaning in there somewhere.

While workahol is a tasty tasty monkey, it doesn't have to be the _only_ monkey...

Hi! I know you don't post here much (it's nice to see Amy back, btw!), but I'm trying to get in touch with you in a fairly non-invasive way. :o) I have a couple of questions for you:

1. I seem to remember that you were doing a book. If that's correct, is it out? If so, where could I buy it? If not, when might it be out?

2. Are you going to BH/Defcon this year? Rick is going to be there, and I know that he would love to meet you and talk security if possible. He's working for some guys who have apparently won many Capture the Flag tournaments, and is really getting into security stuff.

If you'd rather not answer those questions here, feel free to shoot me an e-mail at the_kitty_kat (at) hotmail.
