I would think you, of anyone, would have backup servers. This is truly a shameful omission. Really, I think probably 3 or 4 machines would have to die before I went MOO-less.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...
Backups I have. Spare hardware I have. Getting the network topology and firewalls configured- that takes time!!!

I have LIVE backups. LIVE spare hardware. No extra configuration required, I just start using some other machine. What kind of geek are you anyway?

MacOS

TF compiles right out of the box on MacOS X with developer tools installed.
Just follow the instructions in unix/README.

Yeah Yeah, I know. But given that I didn't discover the dead server until last night, and I do have one or two other commitments...
I'll have something on line by tomorrow..

You'd think, given how superior Macs are supposed to be, that it'd be at least as easy as typing 'apt-get install tf5'.

Ok, Ok...I DO have backup servers/workstations, as well as backups of the file systems...
I DO however have a real job, and a meager amount of real-world commitments as well!!
I'll try to get back on the MOO as soon as I can- it is mostly a matter of moving cables and changing firewall rules...
