I was showing Athena Dash's latest pictures and explaining what was going on. Unfortunately, the part that caught her attention most was Dash's new toy. She insisted on going to Dash's house straight away to play with the Jack in the Box. I explained that your house was five hours away. She said, "Let's get in the car, Mummy."
Don't worry, we are not going to show up suddenly on your doorstep to rip the Jack in the Box out of poor Dash's hands.
Athena really liked the video of Dash singing with his grandma. Her favourite, however, is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", which she can actually pronounce now (as opposed to "tinkle, tinkle, ba ba ba").
I love the anecdotes in one of your previous blog entries: "What's a stranger, Dash?" "A camel." Well, there are few stranger things than a camel.

P.S. Surprisingly, the spell check for this blog does not include "blog" as a word in its dictionary. It also made a number of weird suggestions to replace "Dash's", like "Mash's", "Hash's", and "Dishes".
