Max & family,
I am very sorry to learn of Phyllis' passing from Dash's Website today, and my sympathies are with you.
Phyllis was a wonderful woman whom I met through Max in the 80s when I first moved to Montreal. I very distinctly remember her passion for ombud science, and it was with her in mind that I recently started lobbying for an ombudsperson at the English Montreal School Board.
My own grandmother passed away when I was just a little older than Dash, but my memory of her has always remained vivid and strong, and she had a huge impact on my outlook on life. I was reminded of this by the wonderful pictures of Dash with his grandmother.
I'm sure she leaves a wonderful personal legacy for Dash that will sustain him throughout his entire life.
Hi Dash, I'm really sorry to hear that your young and spirited grandma has passed away. I could really tell how much she loved you. I know you have lots of special memories of her playing with you, singing, clapping and reciting nursery rhymes. Kate
