I had the same feeling as you, this was my 1st time watching NDP with my family in JB(cos I had nothing better to do back there), and surprisingly, I quite enjoy the whole show. The musics and the performers were good, the flow of the show was quite smooth and well planned, and yes, the acapella version of Majulah Singapura was great!
