I took a resignation today over being fired, so i will still receive my vacation pay for 11 days. 6 1/2 yrs of working with the same people feels like i got cheated, and yet it doesn't, i was in tears as i walked out of the building, getting a hug from my Manager an several pats on the back. so far, all i'm geting is screamed at because i wont get umemployment. (according to them)

you can't get unemployment if you quit. Unemployment is for people that are laid off and can't find work in their field.
