I've been crap at keeping up with lj and checking my flist lately. I'm sorry! Life's been knocking me down a lot lately.

Anyway, I saw Harry Potter on Sunday. I was going to post a review earlier, but life sort of got in the way.

My verdict (which includes many spoilers): ( It was pretty damn good. )

reaction post, fandom (harry potter)

I mentioned the locket scene above, and I do like a lot of it. But I just wish they'd have placed more emphasis on Ron and Harry's friendship. There was no hug. There was no 'I see her as a sister' speech. Not even an 'All of that sounds cooler than it was. I've been telling you that for years'. Why? D:

Because the movies totally ship Harry/Hermione.

NGL, I spent a good deal of the movie going "Okay, yeah, but where's Dean Thomas?" and then sadly realized he totally wasn't going to be in it. Deleted scenes/Part Two ?

I really thought there would be more Grindelwald (actually, Grindledore. I was expecting Grindledore).

The Three Brothers tale was amaaaazing. Favourite part of the movie, probably of the entire movie series.

Um, sorry this comment is so late D:

Yeah, they do. It's annoying.

I hope Dean is in Part Two! I knew he wouldn't be in this one though, I hope there is a deleted scene of him or something.

Yeah, me too. I hope there's more of them in part 2.

Yeah, same. I loved the Tale of the Three Brothers so much. ♥

Yeah, my family were confused as well. But it is the first part - and the book is confusing too. To this day I cannot remember why Harry's wand does that fire stuff on its own in the beginning battle with the Death Eaters, even though it gets explained later in the book.

lol, I can't remember that either now that I think about it... and I only read the book a couple of months ago. Huh.
