End of October (Public Entry Version)
THEATER: Last week, MSI's "Dead Air" debuted to a nice crowd in Corning, and LCP's first-ever "Zombie Walk" paraded its spooky self through downtown Watkins Glen. This weekend, I perform in "War of the Worlds" with KLP in Bath (while MSI takes the week off). After a very worrisome last rehearsal of September, things picked up, and this past weekend's performances were a hit. The evening shows sold out (145 seats each), with over 120 for the matinee. EVITA this weekend!
The big week has finally arrived for "Evita". Four more rehearsals, and we go up. The cast sounds great, the costumes are slowly appearing, the set has survived its first week, the press photos look terrific, and as long as I can maintain my voice and remain healthy for the next two weeks, I think we've got one hell of a show. Prelude To A "Kiss"
Okay, well, there was no second Saturday party at Kate's, but it was still an interesting weekend. I've been catching up on a lot of movies, mainly to see how good or bad they are. Let me start by saying that I had my absolute Best Weekend of the Summer, at least as far as Saturday night was concerned. Cindy and I went to our friend Kate's house, where I finally enjoyed a night of not worrying about anything, past or future, in no small thanks to the company...and the buzz. End of August...Updates
I don't think I'm totally out of the woods yet with the car thing, but my Not Guilty plea has been accepted, and I've got a No-Fault claim to file with my insurance company. There's a court date in September, which means I get to revisit my accident with a bunch of people that I'm sure want me to be in the wrong, just so they can get my money. But ( Read more... ) -

Still recovering. Drained by work. Having trouble singing. Neck problems minor, but obtrusive. Overall spirits low. Wife and friends being supportive, but I remain unconvinced. Tired, too. Restricted by my own environment, my own body, and my own memories of...well, everything. I worry about myself, yet I don't entirely care.
