I really do think it's Seattle. People are anti-social here. I dated more in the short time I lived in Los Angeles than I did the entire, nearly 5 years I've lived in Seattle

i would love to test out that theory, but at this point i just don't see a way out that doesn't involve a massive sacrifice in my standard of living and potentially having to borrow money from my parents or live in my car, neither of which is going to win me dates in a new town.
