So explain this to me. We get a lot of flack from people about Rachel being autistic. Only the professionals who deal with autistic children "get it" because they know what to look for and Rachel is mildly autistic. Honestly, I don't find her all that difficult. Sure, she's had a couple of epic fits when I've watched her, but I've always been able to get her out of it within a few minutes. Maybe it's just the age thing? Perhaps high schoolers just really aren't at a level yet to be able to handle the things Rachel needs, because while I can see them, I don't think they're so incredibly unbearable. Or maybe it's just cause I have a high level of patience...

I think it would probably be the patience more than anything. This latest girl was 18 and I think out of high school...I also have no problem getting Rachel out of her fits fairly quickly but yeah i'm really upset about this. We need to be able to find a steady babysitter.

I wish I could be of more help. I just unfortunately have far too much going on most of the time. And baby sitting is rarely ever just baby sitting too. Not that I'm complaining, but I find it hard to leave after. haha! XD ♥

Oh that's not what I meant. You're going to school and working and I realize that your availability is very limited. I just don't understand why we can't get local teens starved for cash to do this. I mean you're just sitting around for 1-3 hours just to make sure a little kid doesn't kill themself. How hard can that be?
