I dislike it when you use foul language. And this is my own perception of what negative and violent language is. I asked you not to say those things around me because it upsets me. Now if you were to talk about me as a person and genuinely put me down, and genuinely mean to hurt my feelings.. then I would be offended

I would say that its is absolutely acceptable to be offended, "choose to be offended" as you say, if someone attacks an ideal or person you care about, or acts in a manner detrimental and derogatory to others. If I may twist your words, when you choose to OFFEND you lose yourself, becoming too caught up in your own selfish tunnel vision and the adrenaline you feel from getting a rise out of others that you become a hypocrite of the worst order

Uhh, kiddo, social identity is one term, not two combined. And it's a theory poking at the idea of intergroup discrimination.

I love how you just manipulated a concept you have minimal understanding of. I'm not sure whether to laugh or applaud.

Probably just applaud, then laugh at how numerous people could contravene almost every defense you just tried to make. Most of which had little to do with social identity or group conformity.

p.s. I just need to touch up on this part, because it is bugging the fuck out of me, and it seriously needs to be argued. Words cannot be trusted, for the most part.
