Kaoru, I can't remember why I didn't stay with you, but I've missed the last train somehow. Can I ask you to let your mother know I'm fine? I'd rather she not worry, and I should make it back by breakfast. I would have e-mailed you, but I opened this up instead, and the private message function is just as convenient ( Read more... )

Sadaharu, I think we need to talk.

And this is exactly why I didn't attend the party.

How can I answer my phone when I'm using it to talk like this? Why would you worry, Kaoru - I'm fine. I always am. I do like you.

You can't come out in the middle of the night! It might be Tokyo, but it's still not safe. And your mother wouldn't like it.

I don't know that I mind. Too many people noticed Kaoru. At least Fuji wasn't there.

Momoshiro ... If you can forget everything I wrote in both this entry, and my previous response, I think I might owe you.

.... so this is the fruits of my labor of that party... Maybe it wasn't a good idea after all. Oh well, what's done is done and can't be undone, right?

But Inui-san, I think you need to learn one thing real fast. Love isn't chemical emballances and what not. Cause it if was, love would come in pill form, and everyone would be addicted to it. Then I'd have to be forced to become a drug pusher, just so I could dole out the LOVE to those who need it badly.

So, stopping dissing love and I'll look you up a good hangover cure on line ASAP

Are you in love, then? You sound very sure.

Me? In love... Hardly...

I just know all right. Because if it was just chemicals and hormones and shit like they say in health class, then there's really no point in it, is there? Pointless things are...well...pointless.

And I'm not sure you'd enjoy the tried and true Muromachi cure! It consists of a soup made from tripe and enough hot pepers and spices and wasabi to make the fire department show up at your house.

I am no longer morbid or drunk, thankfully, but I am still curious as to why everything must needs have a point. Something can be worthwhile in and of itself even if it lacks a deeper meaning, ne?

I've already had several glasses of my own 'home remedy,' but I thank you for the offer. As fascinating as yours sounds, however, can you explain to me just what hot peppers and wasabi are doing in there?
