I've come back and settled in after taking time to visit Kanagawa. Seiichi, you will be pleased to know that the team is functioning sufficiently without us. While you were gone two people went for sex changes, Jackal's hair grew back, and I turned into a merman and laid an egg, after which Hiyoshi agreed to be its surrogate mum.

I saw the team at New Years, they seem okay. The new captain seems to be some strange hybrid between me and Yukimura. I didn't look close to see if his eyes were closed.

Perhaps we can visit them again together when we next have a break? The new captain is also a bit similar to Akaya I think, though significantly lacking that unpredictable nature of his.

Quite a few interesting things occurred while you were away. Niou-kun pretended to be pregnant...which resulted in lots of talk of aliens.
