Have you considered doing Java Script fitting of thumbs to width of page type gubbins? I just remember you doing that thing where the numbers lined up no matter what size the screen was, which was one of the coolest web doofers ever. The world needs to see :)

While the footer is broken (at least in my Firebird build) that is very very very cool!

The footer is part of a table (standard includes is my guess). You are going to have to change it to what ever CSS XHTML gubbins the kids are using these days I guess. The challenge will of course be getting it to be doable in header footer style include thingies and not fscking up the rest of the site... or add a new header footer include thingy and do a gradual transition...

I think I need pics to put on line just so I can use this thing :-)
