Today I was chit chatting with my students and started a line with "My boyfriend...." after which the students hooted and whistled and teased about me having a boyfriend. They wanted to know all about him. I expected this behavior from elementary students, not from high school ones. Maybe they thought I was one of those spinsters that live with

I substitute at a high school and I find the same thing happens. Well no boyfriend...but I have to remind myself I am older. I guess I relate to them too much.
