In the song, "My Heart Will Go On", the word "heart" is used nine times; "love" is used three times and "on" is used twelve times. The line fragment, "will go on and on" seems to be particularly pertinent currently.

Almost unbelievably, the song is one of the best-selling hit singles of all time.

A popular mondegreen for the song is that the line, "I ( Read more... )

Can you explain to me the story of the brothers? A blonde hair guy told me you know.

Back when this ship was being constructed, there were two brothers. One was a wild spirit, and the other was cool and composed. The two brothers worked for the company who would be choosing the decor for the ship. The cool brother wanted a minimalist design, while the wild brother wanted the rooms to be vibrant and stimulating. The cool brother was so adamant that he was right, he snuck into the rooms the wild brother was decorating and placed a large mirror on the wall of each of them, joking that if his brother saw himself in such a hideous room, he would go crazy. The cool brother had just about finished his prank, when midnight struck. At that instant, he thought he had heard a noise and for some reason, his attention was diverted towards the mirror. To his surprise, his reflection was reaching out to him, even though his hands were at his sides! The reflection's arm was a deep purplish colour, and slowly, surely, the hand pierced the mirror and reached out to the brother. On contact, the brother was poisoned, and he fell down ( ... )

What's the data on getting it to stop?

D-do you really think it's ghosts? Is there some way to put them to rest peacefully?

Chance of one of us preventing the song from playing by normal means: 0.02%

I think perhaps if we all dance the robot in unison, the ghosts will be afraid of our superior technology and leave our comm system alone. 87% chance of being effective.

[ooc: Tried to think of a dumb idea that Oishi would probably be totally up for.]

That low, huh...

... Do you... really think that sort of thing would have any effect? Those percentages seem awfully high? Though if they thought we were robots, they might leave us alone, right? Robots can't be scared, so there would be no point in them continuing...

Are you sure this isn't another prank by Atobe's crew?

That's right, that's exactly what would happen. You can't intimidate a robot. Bring everyone you can and meet me in the dance-hall in an hour.

Atobe is the kind of man who likes to be an amazing host. Even if he would enjoy flexing his muscles by proving exactly what he can make happen, in the end, he is a sportsman. I imagine he would feel embarrassed to put his guests through such misery. Unless this is a mutiny by the crew, I hadn't considered that... But still, that wouldn't explain how the comm system is able to do something it wasn't technologically built to do...

"My Heart Will Go On" is considered to be one of Céline Dion's biggest hits and is one of the best-selling singles in history. The song reached number 1 all over the world and and on the United World Chart. Although in the U.S. it stayed at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 2 weeks, it spent 10 weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay. It was also number 1 for two weeks on the Hot 100 Singles Sales. Only a limited number of copies were released - 687,000 - which were sold out in a few weeks ( ... )

Y-yes, w-well... I thought I should present a... condensed version...

Kyojyu, have you been out for a stroll to scope the data yet? Perhaps I could accompany you. The probability of that is 98.97% at least.

Never thought the day would come where your explanation would be based on things of the spiritual realm rather than science.

[OOC: Mun just realised she has never once introduced herself orz Ellos Inui~:D

As the results of my initial investigation aboard the ship, I conclude that the comms system simply should not work in this way. The problem cannot be technical. I-it doesn't make sense; paranormal activity seems actually to be the most logical explanation.

[ooc: Hi! I'm Haiku~ And, u-urgh I was considering asking all the Seigaku muns how they want to get along with Inui and such but I never got around to doing it, s-so sorry for not saying hi sooner! I'm hoping Tezuka might be willing to do some meganes bonding once we get to the island (so Kite and Koharu can come too).]

Use all this damn data of yours to find out who is responsible.

After all, this event was not staged by the staff? As I thought. Per your wishes, I can embark upon another investigation of the ship to determine whether there has been a change to any of the internal systems... That is, if you are willing to help me into the restricted access areas of the ship...
