Even though I know only 25% of all lightning strikes actually reach the ground, and the chances of getting struck are infinitesimal... the thought of all that destructive power...

A-and the course of a lightning strike is unpredictable! Plus, if they hit the power supply, there could be damage to wired electricals. I sincerely hope we will not be overwhelmed with storms in the coming months...
