[Maybe sick Jo set her datapad to record at a certain time to show people she's still alive. Or maybe she woke up a monster and the datapad was turned on to record on accident. Regardless of the how, all that matters is that Jo is nowhere in sight and there's currently an ugly monster in Jo's room, wearing the tattered remains of the pajamas Jo was last wearing. You know, before she died then came back and...apparently got more sick.

Maybe a monster just broke into her room and tried to steal her clothes before eating her, but the odds are pretty likely that's more far fetched than Jo turning into some kind of mutant monster.]
