[After a brief pause, the transmission switches to video, displaying a furry, vaguely feline humanoid in an ill-fitting bodysuit.]

[Sorry, Katara isn't with him to tell him off for staring. That's what he's doing.]

There's loads more of this kind of technology. You should see the city. [He's talking, but it sounds drawn out as he's still kind of staring. He shakes his head and clears his throat.]

What's a snarf?

[Lion-O doesn't fully register the amount of staring, because he's busy marveling at the droid that just brought him garments. He looks up at the mention of Snarf.]

Snarf? He's my pet. [Growl.] This Sith Lord Revan did not see fit to summon him.

[Yeah, he's still mad about the whole inter-dimensional abduction, but he attempts to let go of the anger, rolling his shoulders and then his neck. There's a low cracking of the neck.]

I'd like to go out into the city. Have you been?

You're pet? [Slight pause and he rubs the back of his neck.] Know how you feel, I got here and Momo wasn't around. So what is Snarf? Kind of a weird name. Cool! But weird.

Uh yeah, been here a little while so had enough time to see a bit of it. The whole world's apparently one giant city. If you want...I can show you some places?

Yeah. Snarf is- Snarf. He's named for the sound he makes. [He shrugs. It's probable that the name for the pet's species is the same as its name, but Lion-O really just knows him as Snarf. He tries to gesture something roughly the size of an Earth house cat.] He's like a cat, but small, but also a little like a lizard. Sort of fur on top, but smooth underneath.

[Lion-O laughs, feeling a little silly.] Maybe it would be better if I drew you a picture sometime.

Anyway, I'd appreciate a guide. My name's Lion-O.

Huh, that makes sense. Soooo like a lizard cat hybrid...thing?

[He grins over the datapad.]

Where you staying? I can come meet you and give you a bit of a tour. Oh, I'm Sokka by the way.

[now it's Lion-O's turn to rub the back of his neck.] Heh. Yeah, lizard cat hybrid thing.

I'm assigned to "E-8". Thanks, Sokka. You can come at any time. [He'll meanwhile be getting dressed and discovering how the refresher works.]

Can't imagine trying to describe animals from my home to other people, gotta be hard.

[He's got the code to the door, and some basic clothes, now, but nothing else.]

[He's off to get fully dressed, before he has company.]

[Sokka left his own apartment and made his way towards where Lion-O was staying. He was sure he was going the right way...directions weren't his strong suit. After a few wrong turns and several times passing the one droid, he finally made it at E-8. Hoping it would be Lion-O that answered and not one of his room mates. He knocked on the door.]

Heeey Lion-O, it's Sokka!

[Lion-O had spent most of the intermediate time discovering the facilities of the refresher. but, as Sokka arrived, he was already dressed in some drab gray garments the droid had brought, and was in the common area of E-8. He opened the door and greeted Sokka.]

Hey Sokka. [Lion-O smiled. He stood aside, allowing Sokka to step inside, or view the interior, if he liked.]

Do you have a plan? Maybe we could see if there is a poor area. Or places for games or sport. Junk vendors.

[Oh wow! He was...more cat-like in person, he looked really cool. He stepped in and to glanced around, it looked pretty much the same as his place. At the question though, he spun round on one foot with his arms behind his head.]

Hmm...didn't really think of a plan. [That was strange.] Check out vendors, show you where you can buy food and other things. Not seen any place for sport or anything but wouldn't mind having a look around either.

We can uh...go to the poor area below on our way back if you want? [He never really thought this out.]

Somewhere to buy supplies would be a good start. [Lion-O laughed a little to cover not having through of that.]

It's different not having my crew with me. [He was just barely beginning to contemplate how he relied on others, like Snarf or Cheetara for guidance.]

[Lion-O lifted a simple cloak from nearby, which the droid had offered along with the basic pants and jacket. He swung it onto his shoulders.]

Right? It's strange not being surrounded by people I know. I was travelling lots before I woke up here.

[He smiled and stepped out of the apartment.]

Apparently this place is in layers and not a lot of people like 'Outworlders' we have our own title. Up here where we are is okay, lower is like the poorer area. Up here though you can see the sky.

[Lion-O walked along with Sokka.]

I was traveling too. I had just gotten back to the camp with supplies, then I found myself here.

We had slums in our own city, beyond the walls. A lot of other animals lived there, Dogs, but some Cats. I don't know if it is the same here, but at home, the poor areas had thugs and thieves, but also vendors eager for customers, willing to make deals. And they had goods and information you couldn't find inside the walls.
