So. I was thinking.

It probably wouldn't hurt for us to get to know one another. Y'know, team building exercises.

Let me know if you'd be interested. We can meet at the park.

I know some of the Undercity. Not super low down, but some of my friends are from there.

Is it easy to get lost in?

[Uh oh, we appear to be on one of Luke's topics of interest.]

Incredibly. Everything the sunlight touches is the Upper City. Everything below that is the Undercity, and there's a lot more of it. Some of it's still pretty clean and nice and well lit, but it's darker and nastier the farther down you go.

Supposedly the layers with people in them are blocked off from the abandoned ones, but you know it's not a really good barrier. They say that down near the bottom, down near the actual ground, which no one's seen in thousands of years, there are the cthons. I don't know if they really exist, though.

Supposedly they're humans who were trapped down there, far from the sun, not even with artificial lights, and they survived and had children, and with so many generations they evolved into blind, simple things that eat anything that falls down there.

Supposed to look a lot like the rakghoul things that were around a while back, but usually shyer. I don't know if the actual cthons exist, but there are monsters like the corridor ghouls and ogres and mutant rats down near the bottom. Sometimes the rats come up into the lit places. They chew right through the barriers.
