[She looks around the room one more time just to be sure it doesn't look familiar before she turns back to him, perplexed.]

I guess not. I apologize.

[She does do as he suggests and pulls up the coordinates, her brow furrowing just slightly in thought as she looks it over.]

How strange. This doesn't look like the world I knew.

Sorry. You were here before, a while back. [She doesn't look as... wearied now as she did then, he doesn't say.] It happens here, you don't need to feel sorry about it.

Yeah, it's still the City of Spires. [An old tourist-y name for the world which fell out of use as more building went on.] Weird, huh?

[It'll take a lot of getting used to, but she assumes she has the time for it now, so she moves on.]

The galaxy is at war with a pair of Sith Lords named Darth Revan and Darth Malak. [A pause.] This is not your Coruscant, or your time.

At war with the Sith? [This news is... startling, to say the least.] What about the Republic? The Jedi? No matter what time it is, surely they would see such an uprising put down before the need to go to war arose.

They're fighting, but the Jedi are crippled, as is the Republic. It's a hard campaign.

Then what can be done? [She'll do what needs doing.]

[Well, there's one face he didn't expect to see. There are some things about the way she introduced herself... and the fact that she no longer looks like a fourteen year old young woman that makes him wonder about her own time, but it's best just to address the issues at hand first.]

Your Highness, [He bows respectfully-- as best he can over a video feed.] this is Obi-Wan Kenobi. I'm afraid you are no longer in the time you think you are. As it was told to me, we are a few thousand years in the past, right in the middle of war, it seems.

Master Kenobi. [She visibly relaxes, just a little, at the sight of a familiar face.] I'm glad to see you here.

[And with that beard gone he looks so much younger!]

It's been such a long time since our galaxy was thrown into war, it's hard to imagine... [She purses her lips; she'll need to try to recall the history she was taught as a child.] What else have you learned?

Just Obi-Wan, Your Highness. [He doesn't think he'll ever get used to being called 'Master'. At that second remark, he just nods politely. He's not sure if her being here is better or worse for her safety.]

From what I've been told, Darth Revan is the one bringing us here, and it doesn't just limit to different times. He's been taking people from other universes. It would seem he and his apprentice, Darth Malak, are the ones stirring up trouble. [Then there is the silent question: have you heard of them? He's not sure how little or how much to explain.]

Very well, but I haven't been a queen in years. Padmé is fine. [Though she imagines he'll find another respective term to call her as.]

I admit I'm not as familiar with this as I should be, but given that this is the past the Republic must have won. Why would the Sith call us here? For what purpose? Your presence alone is clearly a great boon to the Jedi and the Republic, let alone others.

The name of the one who summoned us is Revan, but no one really knows how to reach him, or how to get back, without his power.

[Ho boy. This is confusing. But then if the things he's skimmed off of past network transmissions are true, then things like this were nothing new. Still, it's with a hesitant warble that he greets Padmé.]

[Even if it's hesitant, Padmé lights up when she sees R2. Finally, a droid she has some faith in.] Artoo!

[Well, he can't help but be happy to hear her acknowledgement. He chirps happily in greeting. Screwed up timelines or not, it's good to see her again.]
