There aren't that many names you can call 'common'... Antilles, yeah, but that's a surname. It's a big galaxy, and there's a lot of languages to choose names out of. [heeey segue!]
You familiar with the weapons people use? Melee weapons - you know, the kind you swing - are starting to come up more, I guess to get around energy shields, but the main arms are blasters.
Back where I'm from, I was a heavy-weapons expert. But, I'm no slouch at close-combat, either.
The guy at the recruiting station made sure I was familiarised with the tech. [On request, of course. But who can deny a 7'4" supersoldier whe he asks?]
I think they need small repulsors to carry heavy repeaters... The demo had someone carrying it with one hand before he took aim, which doesn't look like it should be possible. The grip at the back's tiny.
I made up a primer on how to use the datapads, a month or so back. I could send it to you?
