[Oh hey it's Malik sup guys] So this Kraci brings some secret to life. Despite his allegiance I must respect his honesty. [He snorts] Even if that honesty will no doubt cost him dearly in these times.
I suppose it further proves how little we really know. [Nothing is true, Everything is permitted. He's starting to wonder about a lot of things.]

horribly weak lock to Altaïr )

[ Concern was evident on his features when he flipped on his new datapad. Starring the other down through the device, Altaïr wondered what it was that the other had kept from him. They'd had a long talk upon Altaïr's return- and yet... ]
I will return shortly. [ He pursed his lips for a moment, considered asking the other more- but refrained. Switched the datapad off, and made to turn himself around, and return back to their shared quarters.
Malik would hear him when he entered; Altaïr made no secret of it. Called the other's name softly, before moving to put on water for tea.
He had a feeling they might both need it. ]

[Malik nodded and turned off the feed, waiting. He sighed, running a hand over his face. He knew Altaïr would not be pleased with this, that he would likely call Malik a fool. It was the reason Malik did not find it necessary to mention that he had written out a form- it was necessary to get anything of value done, to get any base for their Brotherhood set up. He was not an active assassin, his name did not hold the value or danger Altaïr's did. His name meant very little when it came to the safety and future success of the Brotherhood, he would change it if need be. Still, Altaïr was not going to like this. He didn't like it.
When Altaïr called he stood up, walking into the room.] Safety and peace, brother. [He greeted, and even though it was one of the first times in a long while he meant it sincerely the words did not feel strange on his tongue.]
