I...thought I'd ask if everyone is doing all right, what with a vast majority of us shipping out soon. Not only those of us who are going with the Republic, but those who are being left behind, as well. I don't think it's going to be easy on any of us.

I'm well enough, all things considered. [Bethany absently fiddles with some ornaments of her own - she's gotten much better at the craft since her first lessons with Lily. Being as used to combat as she is, she doesn't look nervous about the upcoming battle, not really... Her expression is just somewhat grim.] Not looking forward to any of this, but who is?

I'm to work with the medic team as well, though. [a wry grin] Perhaps we'll get the same assignment; that might make this experience a little more tolerable.

I suppose you might be a little more used to this sort of thing than some of us. [She eyes the ornaments her friend is fiddling with and smiles, brightly] Those are lovely, Bethany!

[And then she just looks amused] So glad to know that you can tolerate me, Bethany.

I suppose I am. That doesn't mean I like it any more than you do, though. [She brightens at the compliment!] Are they? That's good to hear - I've been practicing a lot more, lately. It's... calming, almost. Distracting. Especially now that I've been getting better.

[And then she has the grace to look a little sheepish, just for a moment - she hadn't meant it like that - but she breaks into an amused grin of her own.] Well, without you, I wouldn't have anyone normal to spend time with, and we can't have that.

Eh, you know me. [shrugs] Long as I get to do my share of asskicking, I'll be good. Almost looking forward too it, actually; been too quiet around here the last few days. [Due to both Flynn and Tron being safely off planet, out of Republic space, and out of harm's way, which is probably contributing to his general ease with the situation as well.]

Though that did leave me with some extra free time, so... [He also causes several small ornaments to float up into view. Axel too has come a long way since he started learning. The one he's showing aren't as delicate or intricate as Lily's or Bethany's, and there's a noticable motif of warm colors, but they're still pretty. A couple look like swirls of fire frozen in mid-motion, and there are also miniature pendant replicas of Oathkeeper and Oblivion. Those two are more detailed than the rest, probably his most recent efforts. He's also wearing a simple, silver pendant in shape of a Nobody symbol with a crackled red stone set in the upside-down-heart part that he also must have made, but ( ... )
