Yep. Among a fair number of others, Outworlders and otherwise. [Slight shrug]

Looking forward to a little payback, even if I can't deliver it to Revan personally.

We could use all of the help we can get. [By 'we', he finds himself simply referring to the Jedi. While they are peace-keepers, and not soldiers, they are still meant to oppose the Sith, their true enemies. Oh good, he's getting crazier without the Emperor even around.]

That's a little presumptuous, wouldn't you say?

[ Not that Erik intends on letting the Sith win over them, but he carries enough of a tactical knowledge to at least see both sides to the conflict as well as how it's likely to play out. ]

That doesn't mean we still don't have an advantage over them.

[It's been a long while, but Artoo hasn't forgotten the mannerisms of his old master. After checking the transmission filters, he twitters his inquiry of concern.]

[His shoulders relax. Somewhat.]

I'm fine, Artoo. How are you holding up?

[kick_astromech]

[He chirps. Fine as can be.

So he supposes Anakin is going to go...]

What would you expect me to do? Sit back, twiddling my thumbs, wait for the war to end, without doing anything to help?

[Action, because someone had to come over after seeing that expression.]

[If there's one thing she doesn't like it's that there's so much between them here. Buildings, doors, space, time. When he needs her, how can she be there for him?

She waits patiently at his door, though not without calling out to him.] Ani? Are you here?

[He looks around at the sound of her voice, a feeling of joy and relief washing over him. He moves for the door quickly, opening it, wearing a welcoming smile to cover up the grimness of the situation.]

I haven't shipped out yet. [He ushers her inside, before drawing her into his arms in a tight but gentle hug.] I've missed you.

I've missed you, too. [She smiles into his robes, relief coursing through her at just being near to him again.]

I still can't believe you have to go right into another war. I feel like I should go with you, in case something happens. I'm so worried about you.

[Letting Padmé worry on her own is a dangerous thing to do because she gets very bad ideas.]

[Her saying that makes him wish he didn't have to take Artoo with him. At least he could watch her.] You know you never need to worry about me. [He replies gently, his lips brushing against her hair. His eyes closed, savoring the feel of her in his arms, finding himself fleetingly wondering if he would ever know this feeling again.
