Wrong. Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids who can read.
That was pretty much my premise for this week's edition in the school newspaper.

I read a study accompanied with an article online dealing with the intelligence of today's American youth. I was surprised by the results, but they made complete sense. The schools are not always to blame.

well put man. it always concerns me how georgian education is so horrible yet coming from gwinnett county education at collins hill is so different from even some schools within the county itself... the school system of the US needs to be evaluated very heavily yet taken into account that iq is a big part as you said or we just take everyone with an IQ less than 70 that is an adult out into the backyard and shoot them. dont take that last part seriously.

as far as incubus i dont know what happened with them, i went through my time as a big fan of them but then something happened. i probably havent listened to my incubus cds in about a year or 2. its weird

yet again, i give you made props for reading my writings. yeah, it's pretty weak how the school systems run nowadays. i fear for my younger cousins and kids, but i don't know if i'd ever make the jump to put them in private school, perhaps. iq is something that people miss, and you are right.

yeah, incubus is never truly consistent, but it's understandable that you haven't listened to them in a while. their 2004 album was my least favorite as a whole.

so being that im up at 612 in the morning and bored as hell i figured id start doin random research on gwinnett... go figure but i found out that collins hill pop as of may last year was a lil over 3500 and at some point was ranked along with other metro area high schools in newsweeks top 1200 high schools in america... it was ranked 1060 and it was outranked by parkview, north gwinnet, brookwood, and peachtree ridge i think. but 1060th out 1200 with 3500+ students is still good

they are basing those SAT scores on everyone in the state so of course we will get in the bottom 45-50...I guarantee that if they base those SAT scores on Gwinnett, Cobb, Fulton, and Forsyth we would guarantee a spot in the top 5... you have ot remember most of GA is redneck non educated assholes who don't know the difference between a letter and a number....all they know is GIt' Ir" Done".....I mean we graduated from the biggest high school in the nation student wise.....so we must be doing something right to be able to hold all those kids in a stable environment and still keep it up....I was #741 with a B average....that means 740 ppl ahead of me had a B average or better.... that to me is no where near 50th in rankings based on education.

ok, i get what you mean cesar. i may have worded that wrong. i know we are 50th in SATs and it's also due to the fact that there are states that do not take the SAT at all (Idaho or Iowa only takes the ACT, if i'm not mistaken). true, we may not be 50th in education, but when all those statistics are put together (some unfortunately compiling SAT scores), we do get rendered as the dumb ones, since it's compiled by state NOT region. and look at the region (specifically people) that are in it. that truly makes a difference ( ... )
