tonight i am going to have one of those relationship talks, or at least a drama talk, with someone.  and i have no idea what i'm going to say.  how do you tell someone that you are just cold - that you'd rather read or do puzzles?  that love is something that has to grip and twist you?  perhaps he will give me an out.

Don't know where you are on the relationship timeline, but I personally think the secret of every successful relationship is that the other person has to be okay with you ignoring them from time to time... Thus do we poor humans couple our needs for intimacy with our needs for solitude. :-)
