powers; a permissions post.

Given the pull point from the Lucifer universe (granting her the name Lightbringer) and her nature as a demon, Mazikeen has several powers that require permissions in order to work. Please let me know if you are willing to allow permission for her to be able to:
  • Determine the nature of your character (aliens, demons, god, 'other' -- in person only ( Read more... )

1. Yuugi falls under the "other" category, being dead and all. His puzzle, however is something else entirely. The Puzzle in particular not only holds his soul, but a chunk of Zorc. Zorc is a dark god.

2. His powers are basically illusions, have fun breaking them.

3. Go for it~

Ah, I keep asking everybody follow-up questions! What is the nature of whatever keeps Yuugi "un-dead" as it were -- is it the Puzzle? or another power altogether. Also -- is the Puzzle sentient at all?

Yeah, it's the Puzzle. I'm not entirely sure what will happen if the Puzzle shatters, but he can take it off and be perfectly fine without it. (He just can't use any of his powers.)

Hm. The sentience is really sketchy. There are times where it helped the original Yuugi, but some time after Duelist Kingdom that stopped. If it's shattered and solved by someone who it deems unfit, it will drive them bonkers.

So, it would have to be sentient enough to say "hey, you're not Yuugi. :| *mental bitchslap*".

Hiruma: A regular human, just with shapeshifting abilities. Despite his demonic appearance, he has no demon in him. Not even a little. He is 100% Homo sapien.

Kariya: Is technically dead and is also a Grim Reaper, but will not resonate as THE Grim Reaper, you know what I'm saying? Just a slight supernatural vibe there.

Wow really, he's just a straight up dude? I DID NOT KNOW THAT. /the more you know.

As for Kayriya -- so he's like George Lass from Dead Like Me, I'm assuming. Does he have any other 'forms' or it just a sense of what you see is what you get with him?

THE MOAR YOU KNOW. Yeah Eyeshield doesn't have any supernatural stuff. Just characters with freaky features. FROM INBREEDING, I GUES. There's also a character with a chameleon tongue, I shit you not.

Yeah, probably a lot like George. In canon, he had two forms (a spirit/ghost form for the Underground, aka when he was reaping, and a regular human for for when he was in the Real Ground, IE living and stuff) but here, he's just sort of a combination of the two. Somewhere between a living human and a human soul. Though typically, if he has his wings out, he'd feel more like a reaper/soul, and if they are hidden, he'd feel more like a regular person. IDK, TWEWY canon is weird with their reapers.

I AM SO SCARED OF YOUR ICON YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. i mean those ears and those eyes and THOSE TEETH. /note to self: no inbreeding.

OKAY, that explanation actually works great for me! Does he go about it like a job so something he does regularly? Does he ever reap "unnaturally"?

Ammy here is a sun goddess that usually takes the form of a white wolf. Her powers, in short, allow her to draw some stuff into existence with brush and ink.

All of that sounds well and good. The only character I have who could be considered *magical* might be Eric, because he's a waking dead man. Other than that I just wander about with a tranny and a freaky midget assassin.
