It sounds like you're making a good start, Meggers. And, for goodness sakes, PLEASE don't let this be about what I want. That's stupid. This is about God, not me or you. But for the sake of curiousity *grins*, what kind of quiet time do you think you SHOULD have? Like, what would it be like?

I dunno.. I don't even consider quiet time to be just reading the bible, listening to workship music etc.. I mean I think it could just be doing something you like while enjoying the time for thought and reflection etc... So i dunno.. I mean yesterday at the library i was working on research but at the same time I was enjoying time to myself.. the peacefulness that only the Lord can provide... and I was in a shady part of downtown and so I dunno, He was watching out for me.. I'll just say that...

I'm glad that you enjoyed that time of peacefulness. But I do gotta say, Meggers, while yes, a quiet time should be about thought and reflection, it is time to spend with the Lord, just you and Him. I mean, yes, it doesn't have to be reading the Bible or just praying, but it should be some type of worship, even if it's just meditation or something.
Ok, that's my soap box. Stepping down now...
