I've been wondering if she couldn't be one of my own people. Something about her has drawn me since I first met her. I don't know if this is just wishful thinking on my part...but if it is true, I haven't seen anything about her yet that doesn't make the suspicion more likely.

She's not quite like me.

Her raising was different, she was an orphan raised by gypsies. But I suspect she might be Skifandrian, though I can't see how that would have happened. But she looks like me, she moves like me, and she's some kind of demi-human. She likes to dance, and entertain people and eat spicy food. And I suspect she's good in a fight. She carries bladed fans.

I can't put my finger on it, but there's just something about her that feels like she's one of my people.
