I'm back from my trip. I went to San Diego to visit my grandparents and aunt and her husband while they were there for a convention. I had a wonderful time. There's some exciting news. Wow, traveling. I haven't been out of my hometown for a while. This summer I was planning on visiting China after 5 years of not doing so, but alas, the SARS virus... sigh. Oh well. There's always next year, and I guess I've grown so used to staying at home, I'm just too lazy to get out and stuff :) The world seems so intimidating sometimes...
In any case. I might be going to CA at the end of June. Is there any chance that your mom would permit a meeting? I think I'll also get together with some of my old friends, but that may be kind of hard to do, considering they're in Oregon and a full day's drive away... =\
Well anyway. Happy days! :D

Yes, it'd been a long time since I'd been on any kind of vacation, too. Quite a few years, actually. That's a shame that you can't visit China because of SARS, though. :( I hope things work out so you can go next year.
About the trip to California, I'll talk to my parents about meeting. :) Who do you plan on coming with? A drive from southern California to Orgeon would be a full day, but it's *beautiful* scenery on the way. You'd be going through all the redwood forests, and the coastlines, and it's definitely a fun road to take. I've been up and down that way several times, and it really is quite lovely. :)
