Fifth Truth

Dying is unpleasant. I don't think I'd like to experience it again.

I hope you are all satisfied with yourselves. Perhaps in the future you will plan your moves a little more carefully.

...I wish to speak with the woman next door.

[ooc: I didn't realize they were neighbors until just now. Because I'm observant like that.]

!sakutaro, everyone is incompetent, we need to talk, !battler, !massimo, buy a strategy guide next time, !lambdadelta, !bernkastel, !eirin, i'm feeling a little preachy, dlanor is pissed

M-Miss Dlanor! Are you alright?!

During the fight I received several concussive wounds to the legs, my left shoulder's tendons were severed due to piercing damage from two arrows, my right arm was hit with one arrow, and I was shot at almost point-blank range in the head. However, none of those wounds remain. It is as if nothing ever happened.

...That's... horrible...

But if you say you're alright, then... you're alright.

The damage itself was not a problem. I have endured far worse injuries. The cause of death was a piercing of the brain, not from any of my other wounds.

...Of course, if I were able to contact the Siesta Sisters Corps, there would not have been a fight in the first place. This game board truly is inconvenient.

So, they actually succeeded in defeating the great Witch Hunter Dlanor.

Ah, this game board is so shabby. I can't believe the things I have seen. So ignorant!

It was not an impressive feat by any means. In my current state, I am nothing but a human child. All she did was kill an innocent kid.

The players as a whole are foolish. They have no strategy, no coordination, and no cohesion. It's pathetic.

If the game continues as-is, there won't be any progress. I'm going to be bored out of my mind.

At the very least, Lady Bernkastel, Miss Erika and myself are investigating the situation. Even if it is slow, we will make progress.

I assume that you, Erika and myself as well as many other villagers will still have to die several times before this is solved and the gamemaster is defeated.

Most likely the deaths will be by the hands of other villagers, who succumbed to panic once more.

It is interesting that the gamemaster of this place can use the pieces so easily, no? It is almost as if these fools want to live out their murderous fantasies at even a minute provocation.

Their inexperience will be their downfall. They haven't yet learned that a calm mind is essential, even during stressful events.

I am appalled by how little progress they have made. However, if they always act as they did during the murders, I can see why they have made no progress.

One might even say that, at this rate, it might be impossible for them to make progress on their own due to their infighting.

Isn't it good that they have you, one who is experienced with solving these matters? That is, if they don't take you out again.

They don't seem to realize that they are tearing each other apart. Until they do, they will continue to fight amongst themselves, alienate one another, and generally make no progress. If we want them to be useful, we will have to force them to acknowledge and correct their mistakes.

I was targeted and killed because I was unwillingly forced into the situation. Once I have built a reputation here, I doubt they will be so eager to kill me again.

I want to give you some advice. Next time you decide to murder someone for vengeance, please produce evidence proving their involvement. As you may or may not have realized, I was not guilty.

I am aware of that much. I am willing to face whatever consequences my actions bring.

I do not expect forgiveness...

If you are expecting consequences, they will not come from me. I don't believe in revenge. What's done is done, and the only thing we can do is move on and never stop thinking.

Ah, Mister Sakutaro. I'm sorry I was not able to stay alive. But, as you can see, I have returned, so I hope that qualifies as a suitable apology.

Don't need an apology... Just happy Dlanor is okay, Uryu!
