Quick update

Still not dead. I've been really slack lately. Work and school have been taking up all my time. I haven't even been checking livejournal. Mostly I've just used the internet just for downloading my podcasts. My team at work did get half a day off to go bowling. It was fun. I think I'd be using my LJ more if I could check it/update at work

Man, I will have to check some of these out, but it's good to see another podcast junkie (or some variation thereof.) The bulk of the stuff I listen to/watch is in Japanese but here are a few things that aren't:

Stranger Things-- A sci fi video podcast. It's a pretty new project but promises to put out a video monthly. I'm happy to say that the production quality is pretty good and I'm impressed with what they've done so far.

Escapepod and sister podcast Pseudopod both release short stories. Escapepod does sci fi and sometimes fantasy short while Pseudopod releases stories that are exclusively horror. There is talk that someday soon there will be a podcast primarily for fantasy. Escapepod is edidted by Stephen Elley. Pseudopod is edited by Mur Lafferty (of the podcasts I should be writing and Geek Fu Action Grip) and Ben Phillips.

Hometown Tales-- a podcast featuring random news and folk legends ranging from local ghosts to good places to eat. It's usually pretty well researched and entertaining. They also have a video
