OMG what a great fic. I only now discovered it and have just read all 13 chapters. You're doing a great job of reworking canon and I love the slow buildup to a relationship between Spike and Xander. Are you planning to eventually rewrite the following 2 seasons too (until Spike is once more in Africa with the demon)? Personally I hope so.
Well whatever your super sekrit plan is I'm enjoying the ride very much.

Thank you. I think that If I Knew Then... is a self contained story, or at least it will be when I'm done with it. I at first had decided to do the next chapter as season 5, but I really don't like season 5 as much as I enjoyed season 4. So I've decided that if I do any sequels they'll just be one shots of episodes that I do like. So perhaps I'll revisit. But considering how long it took me to get around to finishing it, I should focus on that! :D
